HondaTrue reliability

All pre-owned vehicles sold under the HondaTrue banner are required to pass a strenuous 182-point inspection before they can be offered for sale. When you buy a HondaTrue vehicle from our dealership, you can download a vehicle inspection report to find out exactly how it was repaired or refurbished.

After inspection, HondaTrue vehicles are classified and warranty-backed in three categories:

• HondaTrue Certified+ vehicles have fewer than 80,000 miles on the odometer. They must be within 12 months/12,000 miles of their original in-service date. They receive 7 years/100,000 miles[1] of powertrain limited warranty coverage and up to 5 years[2]/86,000 miles[1] of non-powertrain coverage.
• HondaTrue Certified vehicles also must be under 80,000 miles, but they can be more than 12 months/12,000 miles past their original in-service date. These models receive 7 years/100,000 miles[1] of powertrain coverage, plus up to 4 years[2]/48,000 miles[1] of non-powertrain coverage (1 year/12,000 miles if the New Vehicle Limited Warranty is already expired).
• Honda True Used vehicles can be up to 10 years old, and they don't have mileage requirements. These models receive 100 days/5,000 miles[3] of both powertrain and non-powertrain limited warranty coverage.

HondaTrue maintenance perks

Getting regular motor oil changes is an important part of taking care of your Honda vehicle. When you purchase a HondaTrue Certified+ or Certified vehicle, you won't have to worry about paying for your first few oil changes at a qualifying service center like ours at Fox Honda.

That's because you will receive two complimentary oil changes within the first year or 12,000 miles of ownership (whichever comes first). HondaTrue Used vehicles receive one complimentary oil change over the same time period.

[6] Beginning on the date of vehicle delivery. The 3-day exchange policy allows the customer to exchange the vehicle purchased for another Honda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle (HondaTrue Certified or HondaTrue Certified+ or HondaTrue Used) in the dealer's inventory. The returned vehicle must be in the same condition as when it left the dealership and may have no more than 300 miles over the mileage shown as of the date of purchase.

[7] The Honda Certified Limited Warranty is part of a complete package that is only available with the sale of an inspected and reconditioned, certified pre-owned vehicle. All costs associated with such inspection, reconditioning, and certification are not subject to separate charge or fee; instead, all such costs are included in the advertised and actual purchase price of the Honda Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle.
